A renowned spot for domestic and international visitors alike who come to experience the rich history, the 144 islands that make up the Bay and much much more. A handful of excellent wineries, wonderful local cuisine and great events all await you during your visit!
Our accommodation is located just a 5 min drive out of Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands airport makes Keriwin B&B a great base to call home during your holiday in Northland, business/ conference trip or just to get away from it all and enjoy our beautiful lush gardens and everything the local area has to offer.

Beaches & Beyond
From relaxing at one of our local beaches to exploring our hidden gems, you will never run out of things to do during your stay at Keriwin.
Fullers Great Sights run day trips to the stunning Cape Reinga (pictured) so you can leave the car with us and explore or self drive to the breath taking Hokianga Harbour or the popular fishing town on Mangonui for some world renowned fish & chips!
For a day at the beach, the stunning golden sands of Matauri Bay, Mahinepua and Tauranga Bay are all within a 35min drive with the popular beaches in Paihia just over 15mins.

History & Culture
The Bay of Islands is steeped in a rich history of New Zealand and its beginnings. From Waitangi, the birthplace of the Nation, to its many 'firsts' - the local area has many great sites well worth a visit during your stay.
The Waitangi Treaty Grounds are a great place to start and a must-do for domestic and international visitors. Learn the history of the treaty through the award winning museum and enjoy the stunning grounds.
Jump on the ferry to Russell, the first sea port in NZ and enjoy the quaint town and its great atmosphere.
The Kerikeri basin hosts the Stone Store and Kemp House while many Heritage NZ Mission Houses are just a short drive away. Read more HERE.

Islands & Adventure
There are 144 reasons to get out on the water! That is the 144 stunning islands that make up the Bay.
Enjoy Urupukapuka - an island paradise with its own cafe/bar, campsites and DOC walks with the best views of the Bay. Jump on the Explore ferry or book a Sea Shuttle to the island of your choice.
Book a trip to the Hole in the Rock to enjoy the impressive sea cave or maybe a bit of Diving or Snorkelling to see the Bay from another perspective! Dolphins and other marine life is in abundance in the waters as well as 2 renowned dive sites & great fishing! If the sky is the limit for you, Parasailing, scenic Helicopter rides and Skydiving are all available close by.
If it's adventure on land you are after, rent a bike and visit the Waitangi Mountain Bike Park or the Twin Coast cycle trail.

There is a great array of local events that take place close to Keriwin. From golf tournaments to music festivals, markets, marathons and everything in between!
Enjoy the bustling local music scene - Paihia guarantees live music at least 4 nights a week including craft beer bar Thirty30 and Charlottes Kitchen eatery on the wharf.
Visit the Packhouse Market just a few minutes away for a great morning filled with delicious food, local artisans, music and more with the Makana Chocolate Factory just across the road for dessert!
Fantastic local wine from the cellar door is on offer at Marsden Estate, Ake Ake and more with Wine Tours available.
